Hala Badri: GITEX an optimal platform towards sustainability and happy future

Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), attended the 41st edition of GITEX Technology Week, joined by a number of the Authority’s CEOs. Over 3,500 exhibitors from 140 countries are expected to attend the exhibition, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Badri emphasized the importance of GITEX in providing an optimal platform for major international companies specialized in the information and communications technology sector to support the global digital transformation process, shape the features of the future, and identify changes that will ensure human happiness.

Badri reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to invest in modern digital technologies across all forms of communication, including automated processes, digital solutions, and information gathering, among others, to provide an effective and seamless experience to its customers and employees, in line with its commitment to support Dubai’s digital transformation process and contribute to the creation of a digitally transformed city.

Badri stopped by a number of platforms for government and private entities during her visit to the exhibition, including Digital Dubai, Dubai Police, Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Municipality, and Du, to learn about their latest services, initiatives and innovations, advanced technologies, and the digitalization of their operational processes in order to achieve comprehensive development and improve the quality of life.

Badri also went to the GITEX Future Stars creative economy pavilion, where Dubai Culture is highlighting the creative economy and its role as a tributary to the emirate’s other economic sectors.
