MBZUAI launches the third edition of its Executive Program on November 6

Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has announced the launch of the third edition of its Executive Program (MEP), which will bring together 45 more global leaders in artificial intelligence. More than one-third of the participants are outstanding female leaders.

The latest edition of the 12-week program, which begins on November 6, will cover fundamental topics such as an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI); AI, machine learning, and the economy; visual cognition and intelligence; lingual cognition and intelligence; robotics; and AI ethics. Participants will present group capstone projects tackling real-world problems and proposing AI-enabled solutions at the end of the program.

Leading AI experts will teach the sessions, including MBZUAI President Professor Eric Xing and MBZUAI Laureate Professor Michael Jordan. Professors Raj Reddy, Yoav Shoham, Alexei Efros, Bernhard Schölkopf, Pieter Abbell, Ken Goldberg, and Tom Mitchell will join them.

The sponsorship of one seat for a participant from a non-governmental organization (NGO) and one seat for a startup will be a highlight of this edition. The inclusion of NGO and startup participants is intended to provide participants with access to this unparalleled AI learning experience while also bringing unique experiences and perspectives.

Site visits to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), The Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), Injazat/G42, the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC), the Emirates Post Group, DIFC FinTech Hive, and the Zoo & Aquarium Public Institution in Al Ain were included in the first two cohorts.

Undersecretaries, secretaries general, ambassadors, CEOs, directors general, executive vice presidents, and others were among those in the first two cohorts. Over 80 people have completed the rigorous coursework, site visits, capstone projects, and engagement, laying the groundwork for a strong, informed, and engaged AI community.
