Microsoft has introduced Azure Data Manager for Energy at ADIPEC 2023, a robust solution designed to empower energy companies in the region. This enterprise-grade OSDU™ Data Platform offers efficient software application development for energy companies, aiming to enhance their operational capabilities.

Launched during the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2023, Azure Data Manager for Energy excels at rapidly collecting data from various sources and provides a wide range of analytical tools. These tools enable the generation of valuable insights into energy production, consumption, and efficiency, allowing energy firms to swiftly develop and implement new applications and make well-informed operational decisions.

Additionally, this solution simplifies data sharing and collaboration among energy companies, enhancing their efficiency when working with partners and suppliers. Azure Data Manager for Energy is highly adaptable and scalable, catering to the specific needs of energy companies of all sizes.

Naim Yazbeck, General Manager at Microsoft UAE, expressed, “Azure Data Manager for Energy represents a significant leap in empowering energy companies across the UAE and the broader region. By delivering a robust and scalable data management solution, we aim to assist these organizations in improving operational efficiency, cutting costs, and ultimately enabling data-driven decisions that will shape the future of the energy sector.”

Microsoft is also showcasing the advanced features of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability suite, including the Environmental Credit Service, at ADIPEC 2023. These solutions support organizations worldwide in accelerating their sustainability efforts and business growth. Microsoft is joined by eight partners at its stand, presenting the latest technology solutions, such as OpenAI and Copilot, to aid energy enterprises in transitioning to low-carbon business models.

Yazbeck emphasized, “We believe that technology plays a crucial role in helping the energy industry decarbonize, balancing current energy needs and industry practices with those of the future. Microsoft is committed to supporting energy companies in the region as they work towards their net-zero carbon goals through technology, innovation, and collaboration.”

ADIPEC 2023 is taking place from October 2-5 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). This year’s theme, ‘Decarbonizing. Faster. Together.’, has attracted over 1,600 distinguished speakers, including government officials, ministers, policy-makers, and CEOs.
