Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a pioneer in the field of hybrid multicloud computing, has announced its participation in GITEX Global 2023 for the eighth consecutive year. Their aim is to assist regional organizations in simplifying their operations and transforming cloud complexity into the simplicity of multicloud solutions. During the event, the company will present its vision and strategy for providing an exceptional hybrid cloud experience to address the modernization needs of enterprise customers.

Moreover, the event will serve as a platform to introduce regional customers to the “World of Purple,” Nutanix’s new brand identity unveiled at the company’s flagship event, .NEXT, held in Chicago in May this year.

Nutanix is particularly enthusiastic about several key announcements at GITEX. Firstly, they have formed a global strategic partnership with Cisco, combining Nutanix’s top-tier software with Cisco’s SaaS managed compute portfolio. This collaboration aims to guide customers and prospects into a future characterized by hybrid multicloud environments. The partnership encompasses joint engineering efforts, enhanced support, go-to-market cooperation, and the foundation for broader solutions, including Cisco’s leading networking, security, and collaboration offerings.

Secondly, Nutanix has introduced “Nutanix GPT-in-a-Box,” a solution tailored for customers seeking to kickstart their innovation in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) while retaining control over their data. Nutanix recognizes the growing trend of AI-powered edge computing, where organizations leverage public cloud resources to train AI models and then deploy them at the data collection point, often at the edge. Given the potential infrastructure limitations and resource constraints faced by many enterprises, a hybrid multicloud strategy becomes vital for seamless application and data management across public clouds, data centers, and the edge.

Raif Abou Diab, Sales Manager for South Gulf & Pakistan at Nutanix, commented, “The UAE has emerged as a shining example of a nation that has transformed its vision into a reality, positioning itself as a global leader in innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital technology. We are proud to support this vision through our digital transformation efforts and AI innovation, as demonstrated by the recent announcement of Nutanix GPT.”

Lastly, as 2023 is designated as the year of Sustainability for the UAE, with Dubai hosting COP28 shortly after GITEX, Nutanix aims to showcase its innovations and initiatives in support of global climate efforts. These include reducing data center footprints, eliminating resource waste, avoiding overprovisioning, and minimizing carbon emissions.

At GITEX, Nutanix will showcase its comprehensive solution stack, with a particular focus on four key areas of customer needs:

  1. Hybrid MultiCloud Management with Nutanix NC2: Nutanix offers a universal cloud operating model that enables customers to seamlessly run applications and manage data across cloud environments. This approach ensures consistent management, integrated security, self-service capabilities, on-demand resources, governance, and full license portability. Nutanix collaborates with major hyperscalers like Azure and AWS to provide a hybrid cloud infrastructure solution that supports application mobility and unified management across clouds.
  2. Nutanix Database Service (NDB): Recognizing the importance of data management in optimizing business efficiency, Nutanix simplifies database management, reducing complexity by up to 90%.
  3. Nutanix Migration Services: Nutanix Services Experts will be available at GITEX to discuss hassle-free, cost-effective migration strategies to Nutanix, helping organizations mitigate risks and transition to Nutanix AHV (hypervisor) with minimal disruption.
  4. Nutanix Unified Storage: This solution eliminates traditional NAS by consolidating all data services (files, objects, and block storage) into a single platform. It includes integrated ransomware protection, Data Lens, for auditing and analysis at no additional cost. Executives from Peer Software, one of Nutanix’s alliance partners, will also be available to discuss joint backup and storage solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Nutanix’s stand, located at #A30 in Hall 6, will feature the company’s key alliance partners and alliances, all working together to deliver a unified go-to-market message.

Nada Khan, Regional Marketing Director for Emerging Markets, expressed excitement about showcasing Nutanix’s new brand at GITEX and emphasized their commitment to customer satisfaction and the belief that the cloud is a journey rather than a destination. They aim to help organizations, whether just beginning their cloud journey or seeking to optimize it, navigate this path effectively.
