ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the AI platform for business transformation, has announced the appointment of William O’Neill as Area Vice President for the UAE. This significant move comes as the ServiceNow UAE Cloud, hosted on Microsoft Azure, is now live, ahead of its originally scheduled 2025 launch.

In his new role, O’Neill will lead ServiceNow’s regional teams across the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and other key markets, further accelerating the company’s momentum in the region. ServiceNow is committed to meeting the diverse business transformation needs of organizations in the UAE’s public and private sectors. The launch of the UAE Cloud enhances the company’s ecosystem of partners and customers, enabling them to unlock value using the AI-powered Now Platform.

“The UAE and the broader Middle East represent a strategic market for ServiceNow’s growth. O’Neill’s appointment aligns with ServiceNow’s ambitious growth plans in the region. Additionally, Dubai Holding Group Services is enhancing its shared service support in Procurement, Finance, and Human Capital through its partnership with ServiceNow.

In his role, O’Neill will deepen relationships with both new and existing customers, empowering enterprises to utilize the AI capabilities of the Now Platform to enhance experiences for employees and customers. He will work closely with cross-functional teams within ServiceNow to develop tailored go-to-market strategies that strengthen the company’s value proposition for regional clients.

O’Neill joins ServiceNow from Qualtrics, where he played a key role in establishing the company’s operations across the Middle East and Africa. He has also held various leadership positions at Citrix and LON & co, successfully leading multicultural teams to achieve robust business outcomes.

“ServiceNow is at the forefront of AI-powered business transformation in the region. The company’s dedication to innovation and customer-centric solutions aligns perfectly with my professional aspirations,” O’Neill remarked. “As I embrace this exciting challenge, our customers and partners will remain our guiding principle. I am committed to innovating together to deliver seamless, intelligent, and tailored experiences for employees and customers alike.”
