World Class Scholars (WCS) to make its global commencement at Expo 2020 Dubai, contributing to the theme and goal of the Expo, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.”

The initiative, which is already functioning in the United States and 25 other countries as a platform for matching teachers and students for learning, is a location where teachers and students from all around the world may “connect, learn, and share.”

Expo 2020 Dubai will be a once-in-a-lifetime event, the largest event ever hosted in the Arab world, with 191 participating countries and millions of visitors expected to attend. Expo is the ideal venue for launching this bold and innovative globally significant education initiative because it is a worldwide event dedicated to bringing people, communities, and nations together to build connections, inspire action, and deliver real-life solutions to real-world concerns.

WCS has set a lofty aim of connecting at least three million classrooms by the end of 2022, and 15 million more in three years.

A crucial aspect of World Class Scholars at Expo will be a ‘Classroom of the Future’ showcase, which will highlight new and innovative ideas, technology, NGOs, enterprises, and government activities that reflect new efforts that will change the future of education around the world.

Mohammed Alhashmi, Chief Technology Officer, Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “At Expo 2020 Dubai, we believe that education is a right, not a privilege, and that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. By working with World Class Scholars, we are connecting more students with teachers around the world, enabling and inspiring students to explore, create and learn, and helping us achieve our mission of building a better future for all.”

In the Covid era, new thinking is more important than ever, and World Class Scholars, working with Expo 2020, will connect millions of students in real-time online education and cultural exchanges to make this new thinking and new world a reality – and create millions of ongoing global classrooms.

New thinking is more crucial than ever in the Covid era, and World Class Scholars, in collaboration with Expo 2020, will connect millions of students in real-time online education and cultural exchanges to bring this new thinking and new world to life – and to build millions of global classrooms.

The WCS project aims to teach kids the skills they’ll need to succeed in the interconnected global world of the twenty-first century. Students will learn to: 1) efficiently use new technology; 2) collaborate with people from diverse countries; and 3) connect to people, cultures, and ideas in the larger world.

“World Class Scholars aims to change the worldfor young people as they not only learn new skills but more importantly, they learn about new people and cultures,” said Phil Noble, Founder of World Class Scholars.

Also said, “We can only solve the difficult problems of climate change, sustainability, tolerance and so many other global issues when young people understand that these problems are common problems for everyone.”

Everyone has a stake in the future, and with World Class Scholars and Expo 2020, everyone can participate and collaborate to make it a better place. Every school, every industry, every government, every non-governmental organisation, and every individual has a vital role to play.
