Entrust acquires Antelop Solutions, empowering digital financial card issuance

Entrust has acquired Antelop Solutions, empowering digital financial card issuance. Antelop Solutions, a financial technology business that enables financial institutions to issue secure digital credit and debit cards to their clients, was acquired by Entrust in a formal agreement. Entrust can assist banks and financial institutions throughout the world develop integrated, seamless digital and physical financial card and payment experiences for their consumers by combining Antelop’s solutions with the industry-leading Entrust card issuing portfolio.

Antelop Solutions, situated in Paris, was launched in 2014 and has more than 40 top banks from 25 countries as customers. Around 30 people, including founder and CEO Nicolas Bruley, will join Entrust as part of the transaction. At Entrust, he will continue to lead this team in developing digital financial credential solutions. The deal’s terms were not disclosed.

With a single software development kit, Antelop One Digital Card allows banks to securely offer and manage digital cards through client mobile apps (SDK). Token management, NFC payments, customer verification, a secure interface, and APIs to integrate digital cards into all major mobile wallets are all included (i.e., Apple, Google, Samsung and more). Antelop’s solutions are PCI-DSS certified, which means they can help you comply with PSD2 laws in Europe.
