GITEX NIGERIA is gearing up for its highly anticipated debut in September 2025, poised to connect innovative start-ups, AI experts, and burgeoning talent in Africa’s largest digital economy. This landmark event introduces AI Everything Nigeria, North Star Nigeria, GITEX HealthTech 5.0, and GITEX Future Finance 5.0, underscoring Nigeria’s emergence as a tech powerhouse.

Following the resounding success of GITEX AFRICA Morocco, GITEX NIGERIA aims to catalyze fresh opportunities tailored to the Nigerian ecosystem. With a focus on accelerating the nation’s tech and start-up landscape, this event marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s journey towards digital transformation.

The announcement of GITEX NIGERIA was made during GITEX AFRICA Morocco, in a momentous signing ceremony between KAOUN International and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to driving Nigeria’s technological advancement on the global stage.

Mr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director General of NITDA, emphasized the importance of fostering international partnerships to propel Nigeria’s digital agenda. He stated, “Bringing GITEX to Nigeria gives us the opportunity to export Nigerian technology to the world.”

Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, highlighted the unique format of GITEX NIGERIA, designed to harness Nigeria’s exponential growth across sectors such as AI, HealthTech, Finance, and Start-ups. She expressed optimism about forging global partnerships to unlock new opportunities for Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

GITEX NIGERIA promises to showcase the country’s burgeoning sectors, integrating them into the global tech landscape. With a lineup of co-located shows including AI Everything Nigeria and North Star Nigeria, the event aims to amplify Nigeria’s in-market potential.
