Westcon-Comstor Africa has made the decision to resume trade in Tanzania and has laid out a strategy to assist local partners with channel growth, enablement, and marketing.
Tanzanian resellers that choose Westcon-Comstor as their primary distributor will be able to offer enterprise-grade IT software, security, networking, data center, and collaboration technologies from a variety of international suppliers. The Deliver Duty Paid (DPP) incoterm option will also be made available to these resellers by Westcon-Comstor.
Westcon-Comstor Africa’s managing director, Vincent Entonu, says that the distributor will collaborate with regional system integrators and provide them with a way to turn into resellers and subsequently partners of its strategic vendor portfolio. A program to promote local enablement, training and certification, and partner onboarding will be a part of this.
The professional services and partner development teams of Westcon-Comstor will offer these. Tanzanian partners can utilize the distributor’s technical expertise and the Westcon-Comstor Academy while establishing their own professional services department.
“As Westcon-Comstor Africa, we are delighted to be able to bring the Tanzanian ICT community a robust portfolio of products supported by a global network with a local mindset,” Entonu said. We are excited to be a part of the Tanzanian ICT industry’s growth.”
