HONOR Unveils MagicOS 9.0: The First All-Scenario AI OS

Global technology brand HONOR has officially launched MagicOS 9.0 in China, marking a significant milestone as the industry’s first all-scenario personalized AI operating system. This innovative platform incorporates HONOR’s new proprietary MagicLM lineup and features an upgraded YOYO Assistant, now a powerful AI Agent. With the introduction of the AI Agent Store, HONOR is pioneering a new era of intelligent experiences within a multimodal ecosystem.

 Enhanced AI Innovation with the MagicLM Lineup

HONOR is redefining AI innovation by utilizing large language models (LLMs) not just for applications but to elevate platform-level AI capabilities. The MagicLM lineup aims to transform user interactions through multi-modal natural engagement, accurate intention recognition, and comprehensive services for complex tasks. By dynamically allocating AI computing power based on user scenarios, HONOR’s MagicOS 9.0 enhances the efficiency and experience of its AI-driven operating system.

Notably, the three billion parameter LLM supports HONOR’s mid-range and premium devices, achieving an 80% reduction in power consumption, a 77% increase in loading speed, and significant reductions in ROM and RAM usage compared to previous models.

 YOYO AI Agent: Autopilot AI for Smartphones

The launch event also introduced the upgraded YOYO, now an AI Agent equipped with four core capabilities: natural language understanding, user behavior learning, intention recognition, and multi-app operation. YOYO can execute user commands efficiently, exemplified by its ability to order food using a single prompt, streamlining complex tasks with ease.

Currently, YOYO can comprehend 600 types of user intents, remember 950 personal habits, and autonomously handle 900 tasks, including managing app permissions and renewing subscriptions.

 Building a New AI Ecosystem

HONOR is committed to fostering an open AI ecosystem, contrasting the typical closed environments for AI Agent development. The new AI Agent Store will enable cross-application functionality, enhancing the user experience powered by YOYO and a multimodal environment.

 Upgraded Features in MagicOS 9.0

The launch also featured enhancements to Magic Portal and Magic Capsule. Magic Portal now allows users to access text and image comprehension instantly, improving service integration by 255% compared to MagicOS 8.0. The upgraded Magic Capsule caters to various user scenarios, including travel, entertainment, and daily tasks.

 Comprehensive AI Integration

With seamless AI integration throughout the platform, MagicOS 9.0 has evolved across smart connectivity, performance, and security. The introduction of the industry’s first AI Deepfake Detection feature significantly bolsters user security against potential fraud. Additionally, the new MagicRing enhances cross-device security and networking capabilities.

For creators and professionals, HONOR has embedded AI into system-level applications. Enhanced features in the AI Gallery, such as AI Eraser and face restoration, complement the upgraded HONOR AI Notes, which can automatically record meeting minutes and generate summaries.
