During a milestone event celebrating 50 years of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in Saudi Arabia, the company announced that its ‘Saudi Made’ HPE servers have received the prestigious National Product Certificate. This recognition marks a significant step in HPE’s plans to export ‘Saudi Made’ HPE ProLiant servers across the region, further strengthening its global supply chain.

Earlier this year, HPE launched its production site in Riyadh in partnership with alfanar Company. The expansion of this facility aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan to position the Kingdom as a technology hub. The increased investment in local manufacturing will not only support HPE’s global operations but also promote the Saudi Made program across the broader Middle East.

HPE’s 50-year legacy in Saudi Arabia reflects its role as a trusted partner in the Kingdom’s digital transformation journey, providing innovative technological infrastructure. The production facility, led by a predominantly female team, has already begun shipping HPE servers, meeting the growing demand from customers and boosting local content in line with national standards.

The National Product Certification, awarded by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, is a significant achievement that underscores HPE’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards for the local market. This certification supports Saudi Arabia’s vision of enhancing local content and contributing to the Kingdom’s digital sustainability goals.

With increasing demand for IT infrastructure across the Middle East, HPE is actively exploring further investments to expand production at its Riyadh facility. The company aims to solidify its position as a leading technology provider in the region while bolstering Saudi Arabia’s role as a key player in the tech industry.

 Strategic Partnerships Driving Growth

HPE’s Riyadh production site is backed by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Ministry of Investment, and the Saudi Exports Development Authority. As part of the Saudi Made program, HPE servers carry the ‘Saudi Tech’ logo, representing the Kingdom’s commitment to technological innovation.
