IFS, the global cloud enterprise software company, has confirmed its attendance at ADIPEC 2022. The company will display its most recent innovations and demonstrate how it assists energy companies in optimizing assets and gaining better control of projects around the world as they chart new paths through diversification.

“Embracing the use of technology to inform and support decision making enables organizations to achieve operational excellence. IFS software supports all the business-critical processes that facilitate an energy organization to digitally transform their operations across different assets to deliver business value in an evolving market. ADIPEC is a perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate our capabilities to this very vibrant sector,” said, Mehmood Khan, managing director for the Middle East and North Africa at IFS.

IFS has helped customers around the world, including BW Energy, Borr Drilling, SBM Offshore, ARO Drilling, Kodiak Gas Services, and many others, accelerate digital transformation and sustain growth. These solutions support mission-critical business processes such as enterprise asset management (EAM), maintenance, onshore-offshore data replication, supply chain management, human capital management, financials, and document management, among others, which simplifies work processes and increases project efficiency and profitability. Furthermore, IFS Cloud improves cross-functional business operations, giving customers a clear view of all assets and improving customer engagement, as well as enabling AI powered self-service and the use of AI powered scheduling.

IFS recently surveyed over 600 senior decision-makers in the United Kingdom, North America, the Nordics, the Middle East, Japan, Australia, and France. According to the survey, there is a high demand for emerging, innovative technologies in the energy sector. One of the study’s key findings is that companies in the energy and utilities sectors want to use enterprise software systems like enterprise asset management (EAM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and mobile workforce management (MWM) to achieve tighter integration and collaboration across different functions.

Respondents from the energy and oil and gas industries also believe that all emerging innovative technologies are critical to their digital transformation strategy. Almost three-quarters (74%) of respondents in the Energy, Oil & Gas sector said augmented reality is important for their digital transformation strategy, while slightly more than half (62%) of respondents in the Utilities sector said the same. IFS collaborates closely with the energy and oil and gas industries to understand and provide solutions that help drive operational efficiencies.

IFS will be represented at ADIPEC by a team of experts who will meet with attendees, customers, and prospects and demonstrate the company’s solutions in Hall 14.
