To get straight right away, Apple announced its new release of the latest operating system IOS 15, which contains new features that Apple fans have been waiting for. Introduced and provided to developers at the WWDC event in June, it has been set to be released to the public in August-September this year. The new operating system includes a new redesign to some apps, new privacy features, notification experiences, etc.
Focus is a feature for users who choose to not have any distractions at a certain period. Users can now filter their notifications and apps based on the users’ preferences. For example, if a person is at work, he or she can block notifications from social media such as Instagram, Twitter, so that they can “Focus” on work messages or calls without any incoming distractions. IOS will suggest a Focus for different timings, using device intelligence. However, the Focus can be customized by the user.
Notifications and icons are now larger for users to observe and interact with. Again, using device intelligence, users can now customize the timing on receiving notifications, whether it is in the morning or evening, or based on how important the notifications are analyzed by the user’s interactions with data. The most important ones will be at the top and the least will be at the bottom of the notification summary.

Safari will now be more user-friendly, with the new tab bar design, the screen space is larger and more spaced out, making it easier for users to navigate through the screen with the use of the thumb. Be careful, this does not give you the authority to use your phone while driving!
In addition to that, you can now search the web with just your voice and install safari extensions just like on Mac.
Apple wallet can now unlock your hotel room, yes that is right, hotel room, garage, your smart home if you have one, and any IoT devices that can be linked to the iPhone wallet.
Using your camera roll, or your live camera, you can now pick text from pictures. The intelligent live feature can pick up phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc. with just a hard tap on the picture that has text in it. Furthermore. Apple took this feature to the next level, by adding a live translation. Simply tap and it will translate, offering many languages.
What is the use of all these cool features without any privacy? IOS 15 limits access to user’s data. Giving users more control over their data, and who they show it to. Now you can look at all the apps which track you, and the third-party apps they are connected and interacted with.
Photos have received a major update to its interface. A cool feature is the memory mix, which now interacts with the user and gives a song from the apple music playlist to match with the picture, adds a customized mood, trends based on user device intelligence.
These are some of the new features IOS 15 has to offer, but there are a bunch more advancements Apple has integrated, you can watch the event for more detailed information.
