Lenovo ThinkPad X1 premium laptops continue to provide uncompromised user experiences because to a constant focus on the customer experience. The latest X1 Carbon 10th Gen, X1 Yoga 7th Gen, and X1 Nano 2nd Gen, at the pinnacle of our ThinkPad lineup, continue to push the boundaries of classic ThinkPad design and deliberate engineering. They’re designed for hybrid workers and professionals who want more performance, better camera and audio capabilities for more immersive communication, and a more secure laptop to safeguard them from the stresses of hybrid working.
”Our X1 portfolio is the apex of our ThinkPad design and engineering know-how. Delivering continuous innovation over the past 30 years to delight our loyal fan-base requires dedication and focus, and great partners like Intel,” said Jerry Paradise, vice president, Global Commercial Product Portfolio, Lenovo PC and Smart Devices.
He added, “We are very proud of our relentless commitment to bring the most advanced, highest-performing ultraportable laptops into the hands of our customers.”
“We are extremely proud to have been an integral part of the birth of ThinkPad, and helped revolutionize the personal computing landscape. Co-engineered with Intel, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano, X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga designs will meet the requirements of an Intel Evo™ laptop through Intel’s hardware specifications and key experience targets for responsiveness, instant wake, battery life, fast charge and intelligent collaboration”, said Josh Newman, VP and General Manager of Mobile Innovation, Intel.
For exemplary audio-visual and collaboration experiences, a newly designed communications bar with a superior camera and 360-degree far field quad-array microphones is complimented by OLED display options and Dolby powered solutions, including Dolby Voice® with its latest noise cancelling technology. The new ThinkPad X1’s offer robust ThinkShield security, which is complemented by innovative Computer Vision (CV) technology, and are powered by the newest Intel vPro® with 12th Gen Intel® Core processors and Windows 11. By providing smarter privacy, easier login ease, and better energy management, CV significantly improves user presence detection.
In addition, we’ve released a daring new ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 3 All-in-One (AIO) with sophisticated individual and group collaboration features, as well as a revamped Tiny-in-One (TIO) called TIO Flex, which reimagines the modular AIO business desktop that we first brought to the world in 20141. We’re also introducing new 27-inch ThinkVision P series monitors, which expand user workspaces and provide value-added capabilities for efficiency and productivity in home and office settings. For a seamless video collaboration solution, they can integrate an optional ThinkVision Voice-over-IP (VOIP) Modular Stack with webcam and speaker.
We’re really excited about our latest laptops, and we’re lucky that ThinkPad has become an industry icon as we enter our 30th year2 of persistent chases of perfection. We’re excited about the possibilities that technology will open up over the next 30 years as we work to pleasure our current fans while also discovering new ones.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon has reached its 10th generation and continues to provide everything a modern professional need; the ThinkPad X1 Yoga 7th generation is elegant and powerful, thanks to its machined premium aluminium construction. All versions, including our flagship and still lightest ThinkPad ever, the less than 1kg ThinkPad X1 Nano 2nd Gen, now feature 12th Gen Intel Core P-series processors, which provide a considerable performance boost.
The new communications bar, which includes better FHD webcam options, Privacy Shutter, and 360-degree far field quad-array microphones, is a crucial design component. Because of the bar shape, a camera with a larger sensor than those available in laptops can be used. The 1.4m sensor improves image quality, particularly in low light.
A Neural Processing Unit (NPU) generates information from the integrated camera based on known recognition and AI algorithm modeling3 in the new Computer Vision technology offered in select variants of the current ThinkPad X1’s. The technology provides smarter Human Presence Detection, which recognises humans and their desire to use the PC rather than a passing colleague in the office or a cat at home, and will only wake up and unlock for them, offering an extra degree of convenience. It even works when the user is wearing a face mask for protection4. When the user looks away, Computer Vision may turn off or dim the display to save power, boosting energy economy and adding an extra layer of privacy when working in the office.
Further enhancements address the critical needs of a hybrid workforce in the areas of performance, user experience, connectivity, and security. Highlights include:
The new ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 3 appears to be a typical update to our premium AIO business desktop at first appearance. The new M90a, on the other hand, adds new capabilities that raise the device to a smart, productive, and collaborative PC. It has a 23.8-inch QHD display, up to 64GB DDR5, and plenty of storage and IO connectors, and is powered by 12th Gen Intel Core processors up to i9 on Intel’s Q670 platform with vPro technology. It also has HMDI 2.0 and DisplayPort outputs, allowing for the attachment of a second monitor, as well as a full-function stand with 90-degree rotation capabilities, which is unusual for an AIO. It is, however, the integration of conferencing and security technology that distinguishes it:
Lenovo’s release of the first-generation modular Tiny-in-One PC2 in 2014 re-energized the desktop sector in several ways. We focused on a complete customer value proposition with the introduction of the new TIO Flex, which eliminates complexity for office and remote workers. Flex provides significant flexibility by supporting the last four generations of Tiny desktops as well as new monitor alternatives up to 27 inches. It also provides straightforward upgrade routes by allowing both the desktop and display to be refreshed separately. Modularity is divided into three categories:
TIO Flex is easy to deploy, easy to service and now offers a flexible and intuitive upgrade path that future-proofs investment.
The typical office is being reimagined, and the transition to hybrid working is gaining traction. Users want dependable technology that allows them to work from home and vice versa. ThinkVision has listened to its clients, and the new P-series professional monitors are built with modular flexibility, digital wellness, and long-term sustainability in mind.
ThinkVision P27h-30 and P27q-30 are 4-side near edgeless bezel design, 27-inch QHD displays offering vivid color performance with calibrated color accuracy. Highlights include:
The target functionality of the P27h-30 and P27q-30 differs, with the former being designed for a flexible working environment that demands a quick connection of a laptop with a one-cable docking solution. The plug-and-work (or play) P27h-30 is suitable for a home office or hot-desk setting, with up to 100W power charging, ethernet, USB hub, and multi-display functionality. It also has a KVM10 switch for power users to easily switch between PC inputs.
A video collaboration option is shared by both P-30 series monitors. The ThinkVision VoIP Modular Stack features the new MC60 Monitor Webcam, MS30 Monitor Soundbar, and an innovative USB stand that plugs straight into a USB port on top of the P-30 series for a unique cableless conferencing solution. Depending on the demands of the user, one stack can handle three scenarios:
• For audio conferencing, the Modular Soundbar (MS30) with USB stand provides great sound with two 2-watt speakers and a secure lock for physical protection.
• With the USB stand, the Modular Webcam (MC60) provides a brilliant FHD video image with autofocus and dual-array microphones with beamforming technology for noise cancellation. With a 65-, 78-, or 90-degree wide angle and a privacy shutter, the MC60 can select a different field of vision.
• The MC60 Webcam and MS30 Soundbar, when combined with the USB stand, provide a cable-free audio/video conferencing solution for home or office environments.
