Lenovo has announced the appointment of Alaa Bawab as the new General Manager for Middle East & Africa (MEA) within Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG).
Alaa will be responsible for defining the business vision and strategy and monitoring the execution and delivery of sales plans as the leader of Lenovo’s ISG for the region. He’ll also focus on cultivating high-level ties with Lenovo’s regional customers and partners.
With over 25 years of expertise with top technology businesses, Alaa is well-known as a strong business leader in the region. He is a seasoned executive who is known for establishing vision and strategy and inspiring teams to achieve goals. Alaa comes to Lenovo from Huawei, where he was the Vice President of the Enterprise Business Group – Middle East Enterprise Networking, and he has also worked for Cisco, EMC², HPE, and others.
Alaa earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University in the United States of America.
