Lexar, a global memory and storage solutions company, is showcasing its latest range of cutting-edge memory products at GITEX Global 2024, which runs from October 14-18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s display features the world’s toughest, slimmest, and fastest memory solutions, offering massive capacities and speeds aimed at professional photographers, videographers, gamers, and content creators.
Fissal Oubida, General Manager and Global Marketing Director – Middle East, Africa, and India, Lexar, said, “Our product showcase at GITEX reflects our focus on innovation and our commitment to delivering high-performance memory solutions. We rigorously test our products in our Quality Labs, with over 1,100 devices, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.”
Among the highlights at Lexar’s booth is the Lexar ARMOR series, the first memory cards made from 316 stainless steel, featuring the GOLD SD UHS-II and SILVER PRO SD UHS-II cards. These rugged cards, designed for outdoor filming, are waterproof, dustproof, and bend-resistant, offering read speeds up to 280 MB/s and write speeds up to 205 MB/s. Available in capacities up to 1TB, these cards cater to demanding storage needs.
Lexar is also showcasing the Professional DIAMOND CFexpress 4.0 Type B Card, the world’s fastest memory card with read speeds up to 3700MB/s and write speeds of 3400MB/s. Another standout product is the new SL500 Portable SSD, one of the world’s slimmest SSDs, measuring just 4.8mm thin and weighing 43 grams. With USB 3.2 Gen2x2 compatibility, it offers read speeds up to 2,000 MB/s and write speeds up to 1,800 MB/s.

Additional products on display at GITEX Global 2024:
– CFexpress 4.0 & SD 8.0 Cards: Lexar’s CFexpress 4.0 cards, available in capacities up to 4TB, support seamless 8K RAW video shooting, while the SD8.0 GOLD PRO SDXC Express Card delivers read speeds of up to 1700MB/s, five times faster than SD4.0.
– Professional Go Portable SSD with Hub: Offering 1-2TB of storage, this SSD enables 4K video capture and includes a hub for connecting lights, mics, and power.
– ARES RGB 2nd Gen DDR5 Desktop Memory: Featuring premium SK hynix DRAM chips, this series offers speeds up to 8000MT/s.
– Pexar Digital Picture Frame: A smart WiFi frame with a 2K display and anti-glare technology, ideal for sharing photos.
Lexar is also offering an interactive activity at their booth where visitors can create their own USB drives to take home.
