LogRhythm, the firm that powers today’s security operations centres (SOCs), has teamed up with SecLytics, a leader in predictive threat intelligence, to help security operations centre (SOC) teams in the Middle East improve their security posture and streamline operations. To minimise new and emerging dangers in the region, LogRhythm and SecLytics will collaborate to provide expanded threat intelligence capabilities and high-performance analytics.
“Data breaches in the MENA region are reported to have reached an average cost of around $6.5 million, which is well above the global average incident cost of near $4 million,” said Mazen A. Dohaji, Vice President, India, Middle East, Turkey & Africa (iMETA) at LogRhythm.
He added, “Cybersecurity risks in the Middle East are becoming increasingly sophisticated and this is causing organizations in the region to suffer notable losses. Overcoming new threats requires cybersecurity organizations to bring together their capabilities to build a protected threat environment for businesses in the region. Our collaboration with SecLytics is building a security-first future in the Middle East”
“We are working with LogRhythm to transform cyber resiliency in the Middle East and enable organizations to expand their applications and services without risk. This requires cybersecurity providers to deliver a unified experience to ensure that businesses in the region are gaining the best possible security experience and are in a strong position to tackle emerging threats,” said Saeed Abu-Nimeh, Co-Founder, CEO as Seclytics.
He added, “Together, we are empowering SOC teams to mitigate threats more efficiently by aligning pXDR and NextGen SIEM to realize enhanced security capabilities. With the right tools in place, security teams can adopt a proactive approach for eliminating targeted attacks.”
LogRhythm and SecLytics will work together to help enterprises in the Middle East deliver seamless digital transformation while also protecting their end users with coordinated early threat detection and response solutions. SecLytics will use machine learning to deliver its Augur pXDR solution, which will provide unique, proprietary predictive threat intelligence. In line with this, LogRhythm will release its NextGen SIEM, which will provide easy, high-performance analytics and a unified user experience.
The Augur pXDR technology from SecLytics identifies the emergence of cybercriminal infrastructure online before an attack is launched. Its behavioural prediction models identify and categorise threat actors based on activity patterns up to 50 days in advance. Organizations in the Middle East benefit from a core set of cybersecurity capabilities, including data collection, real-time visibility and threat automation, and analytical approaches, when LogRhythm’s SIEM product is integrated.
With 30 partners in the Middle East, LogRhythm has built a strong ecosystem to promote its award-winning NextGen SIEM Platform. Through key relationships with LogRhythm AlJammaz Technologies and Mideast Communication Systems, it has focused its cybersecurity innovation efforts in the region in 2021. (MSC). Furthermore, with the advent of its automation module, it has added fresh value to the region by assisting enterprises in quickly complying with Qatar’s National Cybersecurity Framework.
