Mashreq is set to implement SAP Fieldglass across its network to enhance operational excellence and support its growth strategy. As a premier solution for managing external workforce and services, SAP Fieldglass will help streamline and optimize the management of its contingent workforce, providing greater visibility, compliance, and improved supplier collaboration.

By adopting SAP Fieldglass, Mashreq becomes the first financial institution in the UAE to utilize a Managed Service Provider (MSP) model for contingent workforce management. This strategic move underscores the institution’s commitment to regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and innovation within the financial sector.

Norman Tambach, Group CFO at Mashreq, highlighted the importance of the SAP Fieldglass implementation: “In an industry where contingent workers and services are critical, we needed a solution that provides complete oversight and control. SAP Fieldglass allows us to standardize and streamline our processes, ensuring every engagement aligns with Mashreq’s standards of quality and compliance. This marks a significant step in our operational transformation.”

With SAP Fieldglass, Mashreq will be able to manage its contingent workforce and services through every phase, from sourcing talent and onboarding to training, compliance, and retirement. This end-to-end approach enhances transparency and control, helping Mashreq achieve its financial, regulatory, and customer service objectives.

Mohamed Abdel Razek, Group Head of Technology, Transformation & Information at Mashreq, emphasized the technological advantages: “SAP Fieldglass integrates seamlessly with our existing cloud infrastructure and adds incremental value. The platform enables us to monitor and manage our contingent workforce with data-driven insights, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency across operations.”

SAP is the only technology provider capable of delivering a scalable MSP solution for contingent workforce management in the region. Marwan Zeineddine, Managing Director of SAP UAE, stated, “This partnership enables Mashreq to set new operational standards in the financial sector. SAP Fieldglass will help Mashreq effectively manage its external workforce, enhance supplier collaboration, and maintain compliance, while providing a robust, scalable solution tailored for the UAE market.”

Once fully deployed, Mashreq will have centralized control over its contingent workforce, enabling greater efficiency, risk reduction, and flexibility to respond to market demands.
