– Career Advancement and AI Skills: The report finds that nearly 70% of professionals believe AI will help them achieve promotions faster, and 76% think AI skills are essential for staying competitive. A majority of business leaders prioritize hiring candidates with AI skills, even over more experienced candidates without them.

– Emerging Job Roles: Positions like “Head of AI” have grown significantly, reflecting the increasing importance of AI proficiency in the job market. Microsoft’s research highlights the expanding career opportunities for those skilled in AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
