As the global perimeter security market is poised to reach US$ 89.82 billion by 2027, mobile credentials are emerging as a key factor in shaping the future of access control and security management, especially in the Middle East. At Intersec 2025, happening from 14-16 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), AMAG Technology will showcase the increasing adoption of mobile credentials in security frameworks across the region, offering enhanced protection and flexibility for managing large-scale security across multiple sites.

James Clark, Director of Sales for EMEA & APAC at AMAG Technology, highlights how mobile technology is transforming the security landscape by reducing costs, improving convenience, and streamlining operations. He states, “Everyone carries a mobile device for banking, home control, and more. Using a mobile device or wallet to unlock workplace doors is a logical next step, eliminating the cost of physical cards and reducing administrative burdens. Remote credential distribution also enhances operational efficiency.”

At Intersec 2025, AMAG Technology will feature its visitor management solution in the Commercial & Perimeter Security sector, located in Sheikh Sa’eed Halls 1 and 2 and the Trade Centre Arena. The event will also feature key exhibitors like Assa Abloy (UK) and IDEMIA (UAE).

With 100% smartphone usage among its population, the UAE leads globally in ICT adoption, government efficiency, and mobile network coverage. The rise of the UAE PASS digital identity platform, with 5 million registered users, further supports the integration of mobile credentials in the country’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy.

Grant Tuchten, Portfolio Director at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, emphasized the impact of mobile credentials: “As security leaders seek future-proof, user-friendly solutions, mobile credentials are set to transform access control. Intersec 2025’s Commercial & Perimeter Security sector will showcase cutting-edge technologies that elevate security with scalable, data-driven innovations.”

With over 1,200 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 52,000 expected visitors, Intersec 2025 is on track to be the largest edition in the event’s history. Alongside Commercial & Perimeter Security, the event will feature product sections dedicated to Fire & Rescue, Safety & Health, Cyber Security, and Homeland Security & Policing.
