Noura Al Kaabi visits South Korea Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi paid a visit to the South Korean Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. The pavilion is a cultural showcase for the Republic of Korea, and it is one of the top five international pavilions at the Expo. Her Excellency’s tour of the pavilion exposed her to a variety of cultural highlights from the East Asian country, as well as breakthrough technology created in Korea and the country’s future plans. The pavilion’s one-of-a-kind design has 1,597 cubes on a dynamic façade that varies throughout the day.

Her Excellency met with Ahn Yoo-seok, the South Korean Pavilion’s director, who explained the pavilion’s idea, which is based on the subject “Smart Korea – Moving the World to You.” South Korea’s success in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as the country’s embrace of cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and the Internet of Things, are reflected in the pavilion.

The Korean Pavilion provides an interactive experience that can be shared in both real and virtual worlds. It demonstrates new modes of transportation that will aid in the future creation of a more connected society. It also emphasises the changes that technological advancements will bring to both the virtual and actual worlds. The pavilion also features a variety of traditional and cultural acts, including Korean folk performances, in addition to demonstrating current and emerging technological advances and their impact on social relations.
