Nozomi Networks, the company in operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) security, will be participating in the upcoming Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference (GISEC) from 14-16 March 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
During the exhibition, the company will showcase its broad range of top-performing security solutions for OT and IoT, demonstrating how these can effectively safeguard essential infrastructure, industrial networks, and government bodies against cyber threats, while simultaneously optimizing operational resilience.
2022 was another unprecedented year for OT, IoT and ICS security, with news-making attacks such as Industroyer2 and INCONTROLLER causing turbulence worldwide. Ransomware, threats to OT/ICS settings, and vulnerability disclosures remain at large. The latest OT/IoT security report from Nozomi Networks Labs finds that oil and gas, healthcare, transportation, and retail are just a few examples of industry verticals where attacks have significantly increased over the past year, as most IoT and OT (industrial) networks lack adequate cyber security control, an area that attackers are taking full advantage of. Currently, OT and IoT networks in the Middle East are more vulnerable to cyberattacks across all industries.
Bachir Moussa, Regional Director – MEA, at Nozomi Networks said “We’ve observed an increase in demand for OT and IoT solutions in the Middle East, and both the public and private sectors are stepping up to strengthen defences. Robust cybersecurity is of top priority as OT and ICS systems embrace new technologies to stay ahead of the competition.”
Moussa added “This is where Nozomi Networks step in. Our solutions deliver exceptional network and asset visibility, threat detection, and insights for OT and IoT environments, allowing organizations to reduce risks and build cyber resilience. We are at GISEC 2023 to engage with companies facing similar challenges, existing and prospective customers, partners, and visitors from all around the world.”
The newest product from Nozomi Networks, Nozomi Arc, which was introduced in January, will premiere at GISEC 2023. With greater insight into a host’s attack surfaces and anomalies, Nozomi Arc—the industry’s first endpoint security sensor—complements earlier Guardian and Vantage deployments and provides a more thorough understanding of an organization’s entire OT/ICS environment. Nozomi Arc adds critical data and insights about important assets and network endpoints and is designed to automatically deploy across a large number of sites and devices wherever an organization requires visibility. Without taxing already-stretched resources or disrupting networks that are essential to business operations, this data is used to more effectively identify and counter threats as well as to correlate user behaviour.
At Stand B75, Hall 6, visitors can meet Nozomi Networks’ group of experienced cybersecurity experts and senior executives who will provide valuable insights into addressing the latest security challenges in the areas of OT and IoT. They will also present information about Nozomi Arc and showcase the various technologies available, highlighting their usefulness and applicability in the fields of visibility and security.
