Nutanix, a hybrid multicloud computing company, has been named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Distributed Hybrid Infrastructure. This recognition highlights Nutanix’s strong execution and visionary approach in providing cloud-native attributes that can be deployed and operated in customer-preferred environments.

According to Gartner, distributed hybrid infrastructure “provides the foundation for the deployment of applications in a distributed manner that retains a cloud or cloud-inspired approach,” ultimately enhancing agility and flexibility for workloads outside of public cloud infrastructure.

Nutanix attributes this accolade to its strategic vision and investments in integrating edge, private, and public clouds. The company’s platform supports both cloud-native and traditional applications while delivering unified management to simplify operations. This enables customers to leverage a hybrid multicloud platform to run applications anywhere, facilitating quicker realization of business outcomes.

“We are pleased to see this outcome and view it as validation of our hybrid multicloud vision and execution,” said Lee Caswell, Senior Vice President of Product and Solutions Marketing at Nutanix. “We are committed to the innovation, execution, and support that empower customers to build, manage, and run secure applications and their associated data, including cloud-native Gen AI applications, in any environment.”

Nutanix offers a secure, resilient, and self-healing platform designed for managing applications and data at scale across edge, public, and private cloud environments. The unified solution streamlines the management of distributed hybrid infrastructure, providing consistent data services across various Kubernetes® environments for diverse applications, including emerging Generative AI models.

The company continues to focus on innovation to support current and future customer needs. Recent initiatives include partnerships with Dell Technologies to provide solutions for both traditional and modern workloads; the GPT-in-a-Box 2.0 AI solution, integrating with NVIDIA and Hugging Face to accelerate enterprise AI adoption; a Nutanix Kubernetes Platform to simplify the management of Kubernetes clusters; and enhancements to the Nutanix AHV hypervisor to promote enterprise modernization.

Nutanix customers have shared positive feedback on their transition to the platform:
