Nutanix, a hybrid multicloud computing firm, has announced the appointment of Chris De Vere as its new EMEA Managed Service Provider (MSP) Leader. Effective August 1st, Chris will oversee Nutanix’s team of MSP Sales and Business Development Managers. This team includes both existing members and new hires as part of the company’s strategic headcount investments for FY25.

This appointment is part of Nutanix’s strategic consolidation of its MSP sales efforts across EMEA, following the recent reorganization of its EMEA Channel division. The changes are designed to enhance the development of Service Provider opportunities and streamline ecosystem management for the MSP Channel. This includes the advancement of Nutanix’s Service Provider Aggregator ecosystem.

“I am thrilled to join Nutanix and excited about building a team and practice that will drive both success and innovation,” said Chris De Vere. “I am eager to foster innovative partnerships and contribute to Nutanix’s growth in the MSP sector.”

Chris De Vere brings extensive experience to his new role, having recently served VMware as the lead for its MSP SaaS business across EMEA. Prior to VMware, he spent 11 years at IBM. Chris is based in the South of England, where he enjoys motor boating along the South Coast.

Sven Schoenaerts, Head of Channel Sales EMEA at Nutanix, commented, “Chris’s deep expertise and leadership will be instrumental as we innovate and expand our MSP operations. Our commitment to the partner ecosystem has consistently driven customer satisfaction and growth, and we are excited to leverage Chris’s experience to achieve similar success with the MSP channel.”
