UAE start-up PayBy has achieved the No. 1 ranking among all apps available in the App Store and Google Play Store, according to a company statement.
According to the statement, PayBy’s popularity has risen due to its user-friendly design, safety and security features, and ability to streamline payments, as well as the rising desire for contactless payments.
The majority of transactions on the PayBy app involve lifestyle services to satisfy everyday requirements, such as mobile phone top-ups, peer-to-peer transfers, paying Abu Dhabi taxi tickets, and it may even be used for grocery shopping.
PayBy also supports P2P (peer to peer) payments, making it simple to pay tradespeople, tip, or divide a meal bill. It may be used to give monetary gifts without incurring any additional fees. PayBy is also accepted at some of the UAE’s major stores, including LuLu, Al Maya Supermarkets, Al Maria Pharmacy, and Al Ain Pharmacy. Customers merely need to show the cashier their payment QR codes on their phones.
The PayBy wallet can be topped up using bank cards or cash, through 850 uPay and 4500 NT. Payments kiosks are located throughout the UAE.
Innovative fintech enterprise PayBy was launched in the UAE in 2020 to support the region’s cashless economy by providing a variety of fintech solutions for businesses and consumers.
A great percentage of the UAE’s expat population is underbanked and unbanked and needs digital and inclusive financial services. PayBy empowers them with a safe, secure app that only requires a KYC, which takes just a few minutes.
Committed to building a contactless and cashless payment ecosystem, the PayBy App is available to download for all UAE residents now.
