Positive Hack Camp Concludes in Moscow

Positive Hack Camp, organized by Positive Technologies with support from the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, has concluded in Moscow. This prestigious international event, held over two weeks, gathered 70 cybersecurity experts from around the globe to gain insights from leading Russian specialists in IT infrastructure protection and cybersecurity. The camp’s closing session was marked by a significant announcement: Positive Technologies and SGU (Indonesia) have established a new collaboration aimed at advancing cybersecurity training for Indonesian professionals.

The inaugural Positive Hack Camp, which began in August 2024, is set to become an annual event. The program saw participation from specialists from 20 countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, and South Africa. Hosted by Positive Education and CyberEd, the camp focused on practical cybersecurity skills essential for today’s IT environments.

Yuliya Danchina, Customer and Partner Training Director at Positive Technologies and Head of Positive Education, highlighted the camp’s impact: “With our expertise in cybersecurity in high demand globally, Positive Hack Camp plays a crucial role in developing skilled professionals and contributing to a strong global cybersecurity system.”

The partnership between Positive Technologies and SGU will focus on implementing educational programs to boost the number of skilled cybersecurity experts in Indonesia. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo, rector of SGU, praised the initiative: “The fast pace of digital technology adoption requires advanced cybersecurity measures. We appreciate Positive Technologies’ commitment to sharing their knowledge and look forward to nurturing top cybersecurity talent in Indonesia.”

Positive Technologies also organizes major events like the Positive Hack Days festival and the Standoff Cyberbattle, which provide platforms for cybersecurity professionals to exchange ideas and test their skills. The Positive Hack Days festival in May 2024 attracted 200 international attendees from 17 countries, while the Standoff Cyberbattle, featuring phygital twins of real IT infrastructures, continues to be a key event for professionals to enhance their skills in detecting vulnerabilities and defending against cyberattack
