Abu Dhabi will be hosting the 16th edition of the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG), part of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, on 9 to 14 October 2022 in Abu Dhabi. 

The latest innovations and adoption of new technologies in the maritime sector are at the top of the agenda for the third edition of the Saudi Maritime Congress. The event's goal is to present the most significant developments related to accelerating digital transformation and implementing advanced technological solutions in all sector operations.

Under the MoU, the new company will develop technologies and produce products around three main streams: Aeronautical Satcom Technologies, Satellite Modem Technologies and Enablement of other Satcom Products and Technologies. It will leverage the significant knowledge and expertise establishment in the UAE and will be complemented by select international experts to build a global leader in this sector.
