PrinterLogic, a provider of serverless printing infrastructure, has announced its participation at GITEX Global 2022 in order to assist organizations in eliminating print servers with the company’s next-generation cloud-native print management solution, as well as eliminating the PrintNightmare security vulnerability. The company is excited to meet with channel partners at the event in order to build local partnerships and expand market coverage.
Speaking about the company’s participation, Mr. Simon Hill, Managing Director for EMEA and APAC at Vasion says, “Over the past couple of years, we have witnessed companies embarking on their digital transformation journeys and the transition to the Cloud has been one of the integral parts of their digitization process. Cloud-based solutions have made tremendous strides, driven by factors like business expansion imperatives, the remote work scenario as a result of Covid-19, smart city projects, and governmental initiatives. According to predictions from Gartner, global spending on cloud services is expected to reach over $482 billion in 2022, up from $314 billion in 2020. Against this scenario, we have seen an increased interest and uptake of the PrinterLogic solution that helps organizations move their printing infrastructure to the cloud and improve their print security.”
“The Middle East and Africa market is a high potential growth market for our company. With GITEX being the biggest regional technology event, it is the perfect platform for us to expose our brand and capabilities and enter into high level discussions with customers and the channel in order to gain insights that will help us tailor our offerings to the needs of the market. We are also looking to strengthen our channel ecosystem by signing new partners that share our strategic vision and can help us penetrate the market,” says Mr. Hill.
Working with PrinterLogic gives channel partners a distinct advantage. The global print management software market is worth approximately $650 million, with Managed Print Service (MPS) contracts driving this growth. However, MPS only covers about 40% of print. The market’s potential is closer to $1.6 billion. “As organizations migrate to cloud-native print management, they will want a solution that manages all of their printers, which is what we do best,” Mr. Hill continues.
Physical infrastructure elimination is a critical step in an organization’s digital transformation journey. Print servers are expensive in terms of money and time spent on provisioning, licensing, cooling and powering, physical security, ongoing management and maintenance such as upgrades and virus scans, and so on. PrinterLogic modernizes enterprise print management by removing all print servers and delivering a highly available Serverless Printing Infrastructure, which eliminates all of these costs.
Moving from print servers to a cloud-native solution like PrinterLogic significantly reduces deployment pains (no more scripting or GPOs), ongoing support (customers report 60-90% fewer print-related IT support calls), and resolution times. They also eliminate PrintNightmare, a security vulnerability in print servers.
Enterprises can empower end users with mobile printing, secure release printing, and many advanced features that legacy print management applications cannot provide with the centrally managed Direct IP printing platform delivered as a SaaS application.
“PrinterLogic supports the future of work and the hybrid workplace. Customers can confidently and securely ensure their organization can deliver best in class serverless print management, wherever work happens,” concludes Mr. Hill.
