ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), an AI platform for business transformation, and Boomi, a player in intelligent integration and automation, have announced a strategic partnership designed to enhance customer experiences through advanced AI-powered self-service solutions. This collaboration includes the integration of ServiceNow’s Technology Provider Service Management (TPSM) and Boomi’s cutting-edge API Management capabilities.
Under this partnership, Boomi will leverage ServiceNow’s solutions to streamline customer support and improve self-service functionalities. ServiceNow will integrate Boomi’s industry-leading Application Programming Interface (API) Management (APIM) with its Automation Engine to provide comprehensive visibility and improved governance across API landscapes. This move aims to address common industry challenges such as fragmented systems and manual processes that create data silos and hinder innovation.
According to IDC, only 12 percent of organizations currently connect customer data between departments. However, AI is emerging as a crucial factor in fostering connection and collaboration to enhance operational efficiency at scale. By utilizing ServiceNow’s Now Platform and TPSM offering, Boomi plans to transform its customer support operations and expand self-service capabilities. The integration will help eliminate silos and simplify processes, promoting better collaboration and reducing manual tasks through intelligent automation.
ServiceNow’s App Engine will also be used by Boomi to build workflows into its Master Data Hub, its cloud-native data management platform, resulting in a more intuitive user experience. This collaboration is set to deliver self-service workflows and enhance operational efficiency, enabling businesses to harness the full potential of AI and automation.
