Sharjah Police, Digital Office Collaborate on Data Governance

Sharjah Police and the Sharjah Digital Office recently explored collaboration in data management and governance to bolster standardized practices across government entities. This partnership aims to advance the emirate’s digital leadership vision.

In a key meeting, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, and Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, emphasized the importance of this cooperation. Major General Al Shamsi lauded the Sharjah Digital Office’s role in driving digital transformation and reaffirmed Sharjah Police’s dedication to supporting government initiatives.

The Sharjah Digital Office presented its innovative project on data management and governance, which is set to streamline processes and enhance data quality across government departments. Major General Al Shamsi underscored the necessity for ongoing cooperation and knowledge sharing to secure long-term development and reinforce Sharjah’s position as a leader in digital governance.

Key officials, including Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Sharjah Police’s Deputy Commander-in-Chief, and Lamia Obaid Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, attended the meeting.
