Saudi Arabia is rapidly becoming a hub for innovations and transformative efforts, with the government taking bold steps to diversify the economy and promote sustainable development. The country is investing heavily in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and renewable energy, and has set ambitious targets for the adoption of these technologies. Moreover, the government is actively promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through various initiatives, including the establishment of startup incubators, investment funds, and regulatory frameworks. These efforts have created a fertile ground for innovation and transformation, and are positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading destination for technology and innovation in the region.

As a result, many companies and startups in Saudi Arabia are leveraging these innovative and transformative efforts to drive growth and create new business opportunities. By doing so, companies can differentiate themselves from the competition, appeal to a broader customer base and contribute to the growth of the Saudi economy. One such company is Jeeny. We have been on a growth trajectory since our inception in 2014, with a mission to offer reliable and cost-effective mobility services for both passengers and drivers. We are now looking to build the next chapter of growth through innovative and transformative efforts.

This includes optimizing current features including real-time tracking and personalized messages or introducing AI-powered recommendations. In addition to introducing new features and expanding our services, we’re also looking at transforming our operations by adopting new technologies and business models. In January, we launched a sleek and comfortable mobile office truck for on-the-go meetings with clients and business partners. This reinforces our ethos of convenience and community mobilization, and there’s a promo code on the back of the truck for a ride discount. Our team members use the truck to recruit new drivers nationwide and collaborate with other partners to expand our fleet. Rest assured, what you are witnessing is not an illusion, but a meeting in motion.

Additionally, we are also looking at investing in supporting electric vehicle fleets to reduce carbon footprint and appeal to environmentally conscious customers.

Driver partnerships are another area to be considered, this can be done by offering incentives to drivers to encourage them to provide high-quality services and build loyalty. Our current business model allows drivers to enjoy the freedom to control their earnings, set their schedule and receive on-the-spot support from us. We’re committed to improving the overall quality of our driver pool, and to this end, we’re looking at investing in driver training programs. Our latest collaboration with STC Pay is geared towards providing a seamless digital experience for drivers, enabling them to manage their finances and access their earnings instantly. This is part of our broader effort to enhance our driver training programs and further develop the skills of our driver partners. We operate hand in hand with governmental entities such as the Transport General Authority, Ministry of Investment Saudi Arabia and the Communications and Information Technology Commission.

However, to ensure the success of these innovative and transformative efforts, we will need to focus on many such collaborations and partnerships with technology and government agencies to expand to new markets. Any company that’s looking at building the next chapter

of growth will require a willingness to take risks and embrace change. By embracing innovation and transformation, we can differentiate ourselves from the competition. Ultimately, we want to contribute to the growth of the Saudi economy by creating jobs and promoting the use of sustainable transportation, which also aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative. As a business, we’re on track towards achieving this vision, which is shared by all our drivers who are of Saudi nationality.

Jeeny was created to address issues of fragmentation, inefficiency and safety in the Saudi taxi market by leveraging technology to provide a standardized and stable transportation option. As the competition in the ride-hailing industry continues to grow, companies are looking for ways to differentiate themselves and attract more customers. As a marketer, driving growth and improving the customer experience strategy is a top priority. Communication is an essential component of both goals, and a well-executed communication plan can lead to significant improvements in customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth. Understanding the company’s brand values and target audience is essential for creating a communication plan that resonates with the target market. The plan should focus on building and nurturing relationships with customers, using various channels to reach them, and delivering a consistent message across all touchpoints. In Saudi Arabia, business is based on relationships and communication. Personal connections and trust are highly valued, and building a strong network is key to success. In this culture, it’s important to establish strong relationships with partners, clients, and government officials, and effective communication is crucial to building these relationships and ensuring smooth business operations. I believe the approach to improving the customer experience is to create a personalized one for each customer, the only way to achieve this is by using big data and advanced analytics tools to tailor marketing messages and promotions.

Jeeny is a preeminent on-demand service provider offering passengers reliable solutions. The company currently has around 400 employees in its offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in Saudi Arabia, in addition to Amman in Jordan and a technology office in Lahore, Pakistan.
