The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, has introduced six exciting new features for Expand North Star 2024, the world’s largest gathering for startups and investors. The event will take place at Dubai Harbour from October 13-16, organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. These new additions aim to accelerate the growth of innovative startups and enhance the overall event experience.

This year’s edition will feature the Corporate Arena, Tech Transfer 3.0, Future of Media and Creativity, NS Scaleups: 2024 Cohort, Sónar+D, and the Startup Genome Ecosystem Leadership Forum. Each of these newly introduced streams is designed to connect founders, investors, and business leaders, creating opportunities to explore Dubai’s emerging growth potential and boost the digital economy.

The Corporate Arena will offer a platform for enterprises, startups, and investors to collaborate and explore strategic partnerships. Industry leaders such as Bridgestone, Sony Innovation Venture, Abu Dhabi Department of Health, Dubai Police, and DP World will be participating. Tech Transfer 3.0 will focus on simplifying the commercialization of new inventions by bringing together tech professionals, researchers, and engineers from leading institutions like Columbia University and the Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. The Future of Media and Creativity will showcase the revolutionary impact of AI, Web 3, and other emerging technologies on media and cultural content creation, offering an immersive experience for attendees.

The NS Scaleups: 2024 Cohort will present 100 global scale-ups, providing these startups with premium exposure, government briefings, product demonstrations, and matchmaking opportunities with investors and industry experts. Sónar+D, after success in cities like Barcelona, Istanbul, and Lisbon, will bring its unique blend of creativity and technology to Dubai, showcasing leading-edge projects. The Startup Genome Ecosystem Leadership Forum will gather government leaders and entrepreneurs to build connections between global ecosystems, fostering innovation and growth.

These new features reflect the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy’s commitment to supporting Dubai’s transformation into a leading global digital economy hub, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). As one of the key pillars of this strategy, Expand North Star 2024 will play a vital role in driving economic growth and innovation in the region.
