Sony Unveils New BRAVIA 4K Laser Projectors

Sony has announced the launch of two cutting-edge native 4K laser home cinema projectors, powered by the advanced BRAVIA XR Processor. These new models mark the beginning of Sony’s comprehensive BRAVIA home cinema line-up, which integrates projectors, TVs, soundbars, and home audio products under one unified brand. With the new projectors, Sony is offering consumers the ultimate cinematic experience in the comfort of their own homes, delivering professional-grade image quality and immersive sound.

The two native 4K HDR laser projectors are the first in Sony’s lineup to feature the XR Processor for Projector, a technology adapted from their popular BRAVIA TVs. This processor powers four key picture enhancements: XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, XR Deep Black, XR TRILUMINOS PRO, and XR Clear Image, all designed to deliver an exceptional viewing experience. Whether watching movies, sports, or playing video games, users can expect optimal brightness, contrast, and color accuracy with rich details and vivid visuals.

The BRAVIA Projector 9, offering 3,400 lumens of brightness, and the BRAVIA Projector 8, with 2,700 lumens, ensure bright and clear images even in well-lit rooms. Both models are equipped with Sony’s unique laser light source and compact, award-winning designs, perfect for seamless integration into home theaters.

Key features of these new projectors include advanced gaming performance with 4K 120fps and Auto Low Latency Mode, ensuring a responsive gaming experience with a fast 12ms input lag. The BRAVIA Projector 9 also features Live Color Enhancer, which guarantees vibrant images even in bright environments.
