The Alpha 1 eliminates the need for photographers to consider the typical trade-off between resolution and speed because it provides both. A 50.1 MP full-frame stacked Exmor RSTM CMOS image sensor and BIONZ XRTM processor are at the heart of the camera, allowing for up to 30fps continuous shooting and a blackout-free vision in the electronic viewfinder. Flash sync up to 1/400 sec and electronic shutter flash sync up to 1/200 sec is possible with the dual driven shutter. The Alpha 1 is one of the most flexible cameras ever produced, with up to 8K (7680×4320) 30p 10-bit 4:2:0 movie recording and industry-leading video capabilities. It is the most satisfactory solution for demanding professionals because it is equipped with the latest and fastest data transfer technology and enables professional-quality workflow and increased tethered shooting capabilities.
The Alpha 7S III captures a beautiful 4K video without sacrificing quality. The camera features a 12.1-megapixel back-illuminated full-frame Exmor RTM CMOS image sensor with excellent performance at high sensitivity levels up to ISO 409,600 and no rolling shutter effects. Its full-pixel readout also allows for ultra-sharp and clean footage without the need for cropping. The camera can record for more than an hour in 4K/60p mode, while 4K/120p and Full HD/240p are also accessible in slow motion. The camera records 10-bit footage with 4:2:2 color subsampling internally, and it can also output 16-bit RAW data through HDMI to a compatible recorder. It allows you to frame and monitor your topic accurately. Finally, S-Cinetone is featured, as is complete HDMI connectivity for both recording and editing video, as well as tenacious AF with Sony’s proprietary Real-time Tracking and Eye AF technology, which is excellent for solo shooting or small-scale production.
This one-of-a-kind prime lens combines excellent image quality and a brilliant F1.2 aperture with a very small and light build. Its 11-blade circular diaphragm and XA (extreme aspherical) lens elements, both newly developed, produce beautiful bokeh. The four XD Linear Motors (extreme dynamic) provide quick and precise autofocus and Tracking. Furthermore, the FE 50mm F1.2 GM features an aperture ring that can be converted between click and clickless operation, making it suitable for picture and video photography. This lens provides photographers and videographers with a high-performing tool for portraits, wedding photography, filmmaking, and more.
This rectilinear 14mm F/1.8 lens combines Sony’s newest optical design breakthroughs and manufacturing techniques into a rectilinear 14mm F/1.8 lens that is as convenient to carry in the field as it is to use in the studio. The small dimensions and lightweight, on the other hand, do not compromise the outstanding image quality or reliability required under demanding settings. Landscapes, nightscapes, architecture, and videography all benefit from Sony’s FE 14mm F1.8 GM. The XA lens components and 9-blade aperture contribute to pleasing bokeh, while the XD Linear Motors ensure quick and accurate autofocus.
Sony’s ultra-wide-angle zoom with a big aperture is a genuinely wonderful lens with outstanding optical performance. Even at maximum aperture, the sharpness is excellent from edge to edge, thanks in part to the biggest XA lens element yet made. The lens is surprisingly tiny with a 122° angle of view and a dazzling maximum aperture of F2.8. The FE 12-24mm F2.8 GM’s superior construction quality features water and an oil-repellent fluorine coating on the front element. Landscape photographers, videographers, and photojournalists will appreciate the fast and accurate autofocus provided by the XD Linear Motors.
The engineers behind the Alpha series cameras, which are known for their industry-leading autofocus capabilities, collaborated on the Xperia 1 III. Real-time Eye AF and fast, accurate continuous AF across all lenses are included in the model. The Xperia 1 III also comes with the world’s first Variable telephoto lens and a Dual-PD Sensor, and a 4K HDR OLED 120Hz Refresh rate display.
For photographers who strive for picture-perfect outcomes, the Xperia 1 III offers a more complex feature set. Real-time Tracking is included on the Xperia 1 III, allowing users to capture even the most difficult moving subjects in sharp focus. Real-time Tracking can reliably detect and focus on a subject and continue to monitor it even if it temporarily moves out of sight, thanks to AI-based algorithms and the 3D iToF sensor for measuring distance. The world’s first smartphone with a Variable telephoto lens paired with a Dual PD sensor that goes up to a 105mm focal length – with rapid autofocus owing to the Dual PD sensor – completes the picture. When switching between 70mm and 105mm, the focus is automatically adjusted to capture the beauty in the details. The Xperia 1 III can now reach focal lengths of 16mm and 24mm for greater creative flexibility in photographing.
Xperia 1 III offers a broad collection of integrated features that connect the Xperia community with its hobbies, in addition to its outstanding camera performance. Whether they’re photographers, audiophiles, cinephiles, gamers, or cinematographers, the new Xperia 1 series enhances the user experience with a slew of additional multimedia capabilities, including full-stage stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone port, 360 Reality Audio, and enhanced Game Enhancer.
The VPL-VW590ES 1,800lm native 4K lamp projector is a genuine home cinema all-rounder that delivers the 4K clarity, deep contrast, and bright, accurate colors that high-end home cinema projectors are known for. It uses the picture processor “X1TM for projector,” based on technology used in Sony’s TVs and is optimized for projection image qualities to provide an extraordinarily clear HDR experience. With the ‘Dynamic HDR Enhancer’ included with the “X1TM for projector,” which optimises HDR image quality through dynamic tone mapping, you can watch 4K HDR material the way the creator intended. On a frame-by-frame basis, dynamic range is increased by deepening dark depths through precision light source dimming while concurrently increasing highlights.
