Informatica, an enterprise data management leader, announced at Gitex Global 2022, it has signed a multi-year, strategic framework agreement to offer enterprise data management services to government entities in Abu Dhabi.

The Department of Government Support, represented by the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), announced the launch of a Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign in collaboration with the Cyber Security Council, as part of its efforts to promote a cybersecurity culture among Abu Dhabi Government employees and members of society in general. This campaign is one of several initiatives being worked on by ADDA as part of the pillars and objectives of the Abu Dhabi Government cybersecurity strategy

HE Dr. Al Askar discussed how UAE and Abu Dhabi have already progressed beyond hypothetical with tangible AI use cases, citing the UAE’s deployment of machine learning skills to localise a cardiovascular disease risk calculator last year as an example. This is expected to significantly cut operational expenses in health sector by proactively identifying and treating hazards before they worsen.

As part of a partnership between The Abu Dhabi Government Services ecosystem, “TAMM ” and First Abu Dhabi Bank, ‘payit’ will allow members of the society who have a valid Emirates ID, regardless of who they bank with, conduct easy and simple digital payments for any governmental services through their smartphones.
