The survey polled 1,050 employees across the UAE and discovered that nearly 90% of those polled want to work in a hybrid or fully remote model in the future. These findings are completely consistent with global sentiment, with slightly more than 91 percent of international respondents agreeing on the same question.

With approximately 15,000 guests in person and a live-streamed online event, this year’s Cisco Live hybrid event was the first of its kind. Following the event’s successful conclusion, Rabab Zehra, Executive Editor at TECHx spoke with Osama Al-Zoubi, CTO, Cisco Middle East and Africa, to go through the specifics of what happened. According to the new Cisco Global Hybrid Work Index, 78% of leaders and 66% of workers believe hybrid work has no negative impact on productivity as long as they have the right technology.

Wearables are becoming increasingly popular: 38% of people currently use at least one wearable technology device, and 71% intend to increase their use of such products and related applications in the next year.
