As part of our pre-GITEX feature, we spoke with Mareva Koulamallah, Head of Marketing and Communications Middle East & Africa at Acronis, to learn about Acronis’ expectations from the event this year as well as the latest trends in cybersecurity and the solutions Acronis has to offer organisations. New Advanced File Sync and Share pack builds on the essential file-sharing capabilities included in Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, layering additional data security capabilities such as blockchain-based data notarization and electronic signatures for MSPs’ services.

Pulvermueller joins Acronis from GoDaddy, where he served as President of the Partner Business. In that role, he led the company’s strategic expansion of its Hosting, Productivity, and Security services through resellers and agency partners.

During the event, Acronis will not only showcase the company’s portfolio of cloud-based cyber protection solutions; it will also celebrate the professional football championships of several of their European sports partners.

A significant portion of the investment will also be used to further enhance Acronis’ go-to-market initiatives by expanding its broad partner network – most notably managed service providers (MSPs).
