Ericsson has been chosen by Etisalat Misr to update its Business Support Systems (BSS) in Egypt. Etisalat Misr’s BSS platform will be upgraded and modernised to enable increased data and VoLTE traffic, 5G readiness, and IoT.
Mohammed Alshaiba Almazrouei, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai-based Medad Technology, said the company has already patented several innovations in ultrasound technology, with potentially groundbreaking applications in smoking cessation, medicine delivery and diagnostics. “Medad Technology is committed to delivering faster, smarter and safer solutions to improve public health and quality of life, locally and internationally,” said Almazrouei.
As part of the partnership, the companies will work together to launch credit cards with issuers all over the world using Zeta’s contemporary, cloud-native, and completely API-ready credit processing stack.
Mashreq has invested in NymCard, the Middle East’s Banking-as-a-Service provider, in order to promote the UAE’s thriving FinTech sector and the next generation of innovators, said a company statement. Through NymCard’s contemporary open APIs, it will enable fintechs of all sizes to establish business propositions that require payment card capabilities. The deal’s terms were not made public.
