Race to Zero , global campaign designed to rally leadership and support from businesses, cities, regions, and investors for a healthy, resilient, zero carbon recovery that prevents future threats, creates jobs, and unlocks inclusive, sustainable growth. Aims to mobilize a coalition of leading net zero initiatives and is the largest ever alliance committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Since 2017, SAP has also been pursuing a science-based climate target certified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to make its own contribution to limiting global warming to 1.5°C above preindustrial levels. While its zero-carbon goal applies chiefly to its own operations, SAP’s science-based climate target also encompasses the upstream and downstream value chain.

Tech Mahindra has taken ambitious emission targets, approved by the SBTi (Science-based Targets Initiative) to reduce its absolute scopes 1 and 2 GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions 22% by 2030 and 50% by 2050 from baseline year 2016. The company has joined Business Ambition for 1.5°C to hold a rise in global temperature below 1.5°C.
