Shield is the brainchild of Ajman University students Shamma Alaryani, Somaya Samra, Wessam Shehieb, Marwa Alshouli, and Bashayer Alasfour, they were encouraged to enter the competition after realizing the vital need for awareness of the subject.

A substantial number (72%) felt remote working blurred the line between work and home life with 68% responding that they felt it increased the pressure to respond to work outside of office hours.
