PNY has released the technical details for their upcoming PNY Performance DDR5 Desktop Memory and XLR8 Gaming Memory. The three variants are the overclocked XLR8Gaming MAKO and MAKO RGB models.
‘The PNY lineup for gamers is targeting all key components in a PC which enhances performance (GPU, SSD, DRAM modules). GPU availability is very limited in recent times and we have challenges to fulfill the market demand,’ says Talus Arukalil, Regional Manager at PNY Technologies MEAI
These new modules provide the same performance as the rest of the XLR8 series, but with a low-profile aluminium heat spreader for applications where space is at a premium.
The PNY Performance DDR5 memory module is designed to work with the expanding number of motherboards that support the new DDR5 memory standard. Many innovative and interesting functions are provided by this sophisticated technology that was limited or not available in prior generations of PC memory.
XLR8 Gaming EPIC-X RGB DDR4 Memory Modules in version 4200MHz, 4400MHz and 4600MHz have been selected for their durability and ability to deliver extreme overclocking performance also compatible with the latest Intel and AMD platforms.
