Tenable®, an exposure management company, has announced the launch of AI Aware, a new capability designed to detect and address vulnerabilities in artificial intelligence systems. Integrated within Tenable Vulnerability Management, the world’s top vulnerability management platform, AI Aware provides critical insights into AI applications, libraries, and plugins, allowing organizations to mitigate AI risks without interrupting business operations.

Over a 75-day period, more than 9 million AI instances were found on over 1 million hosts, highlighting the growing security concerns around AI usage. Tenable has also uncovered vulnerabilities in popular AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Flowise, and Langflow, showcasing the urgent need for advanced AI security measures.
AI Aware’s innovative approach uses a combination of agents, passive network monitoring, dynamic application security testing, and distributed scan engines to detect approved and unapproved AI software, libraries, and browser plugins.
