Thousands of WhatsApp users report an outage across the globe

On Tuesday, users from all over the world reported disruptions in the WhatsApp services.

According to reports, mobile users were unable to send or receive messages, as well as engage in group chats, on the instant messaging app.

A spike in users reporting WhatsApp’s outage has been observed on Downdetector, a website that monitors online outages around the world.
