ThreatQuotient has announced that its ThreatQ Platform has passed a Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II compliance audit. This certification verifies that ThreatQuotient’s previously certified security and governance measures properly preserve the security, confidentiality, and availability of their hosted service. The audit was carried out by the independent firm Clearview Group.

“It takes tremendous discipline and organization to provide on-demand evidence throughout an audit that a company is exercising their policies and procedures. ThreatQuotient is proud of this achievement, and considers SOC 2 Type II compliance just one of the many ways we intend to continue meeting and exceeding industry security standards,” said Tom Ashoff, Senior Vice President of Engineering, ThreatQuotient.

He added,  “Achieving a favorable examination of ThreatQ provides our customers the confidence that we have the proper controls in place to protect their data, and assurance of the availability and confidentiality of their hosted service.”

SOC 2 is a critical industry standard in data security that assesses a technological service provider’s capacity to manage client data securely. Organizations must pass a rigorous audit to receive a SOC 2 Type II accreditation, which examines the following trust services criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. The Type II audit method was used to assess and certify ThreatQuotient’s continuous adherence to its policies.

ThreatQuotient is devoted to providing novel threat detection and response solutions as customer demands grow. ThreatQuotient just released version 5 of the ThreatQ platform, which introduces capabilities that are needed now to enable the future security operations centre (SOC), where data is the basis. ThreatQ bridges the dots by bringing an organization’s plethora of data together on a single work surface, allowing teams to be more thorough in their investigations, cooperation, reaction, and reporting.
