Cyber Wales, United Kingdom hosted a Cyber Wales Cyber Security Forum on March 24, 2022, at the Slovakian Pavilion, Dubai World Expo, as a global platform aiming to build a more resilient and better cyberspace platform for all.
To achieve this goal, the platform emphasized the importance of international collaboration among various stakeholders and nations. In order to achieve these goals, Cyber Wales has brought together Dr. Sheikh Hamed Bin Ahmed Al Hamed (Goodwill Ambassador of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the UAE), industry leaders, policymakers, senior representatives from international organizations (public and private sectors), prominent academics and thought leaders from around the world, and executives from the finance, health, energy, and transportation sectors.
According to Hon Col Mr John Davies MBE, Co-Founder and Chairman of Cyber Wales, the rethinking the global cyber order will focus on the root challenges in cybersecurity and explore how the global cyber community can seize upon the many benefits cyberspace provides to humanity. Building on the momentum of monthly dedicated webinars and/or events, Cyber Wales will evolve into an action-oriented global platform that integrates the global cybersecurity community. Cyber Wales aims to catalyze socio-economic change, push the knowledge boundaries on core cybersecurity topics, foster investment, trade, and lay the groundwork for global cooperation in cyberspace through its annual events, continuing research, design and launch of new initiatives, and other activities.
Faheem Azhar, Board of Director and International Advisor, Cyber Wales added: “Cyber Wales is a registered CIC. Its management team, the cluster managers and the steering committee all strive to provide a platform for members to find guidance, share news, ideas and best practice, encourage collaboration through clusters, events and competitions and identify opportunities for the cyber communities globally to thrive and grow.”
The Cyber Wales team welcomes global participation in the upcoming event and looks forward to expanding consultation, training, and development dialogues, as well as driving action together to create better cyberspace for all. The team expressed its gratitude to everyone who helped make the Cyber Wales Forum a success.
