Veeam® Software, a key provider of Data Resilience, has announced a new integration with Splunk, offering enterprises enhanced visibility into potential cyber threats. The Veeam App for Splunk, available for free to Veeam Data Platform Advanced or Premium license holders, enables comprehensive monitoring of Veeam backup environments through detailed dashboards, reports, and alerts.
This new Splunk extension helps organizations mitigate risks and ensure business continuity during cyber-attacks. A recent study revealed that 76% of organizations experienced ransomware attacks last year, with 93% targeting data backups. By integrating with Splunk, Veeam provides security professionals with the tools to monitor their backup environments alongside other critical systems, ensuring timely detection and response to threats.

The Veeam App for Splunk offers features such as daily monitoring dashboards, built-in reports and alerts, severity level management, and support for multiple Veeam Backup & Replication servers and data source locations. It also integrates with Splunk’s role-based permissions and provides app configuration backup.
