Veritas Technologies, a secure multi-cloud data management company, has unveiled new enhancements for Veritas Data Insight, now available as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. This latest release offers improved efficiency, speed, and coverage for organizations needing robust data compliance solutions.

Key Features of Veritas Data Insight:

– SaaS Consumption Model: Simplifies onboarding and provides automatic updates, greater scalability, and ease of use as a multi-tenant, Veritas-managed application.

– Enhanced Performance: Features efficiency improvements with data indexing requiring up to 50% less disk space, faster data classification, and improved indexing for comprehensive compliance.

Addressing the Challenge of Dark Data:

Unstructured data, including redundant, obsolete, and trivial (ROT) data, constitutes around 52% of an average organization’s data estate, posing significant storage costs and compliance risks. Veritas Data Insight offers in-depth visibility and analysis across multi-cloud infrastructures, helping organizations manage unstructured, dark, and sensitive data efficiently.
