Vertiv Appoints Frank Poncheri as New CHRO

Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has appointed Frank Poncheri as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Reporting directly to CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi, Poncheri will be responsible for leading the company’s HR strategy, development, and execution, reinforcing Vertiv’s key strategic priorities.

With over 15 years of HR and corporate strategy experience, Poncheri has expertise in global employee development, talent management, and fostering high-performance cultures. Before joining Vertiv, he spent 10 years at Owens Corning, where he held leadership roles, including vice president of HR and corporate integration, and divisional HR director, working in both the United States and Finland. He began his career at GE Aerospace through their HR Leadership Program.

Albertazzi highlighted Poncheri’s role in driving Vertiv’s success: “As Vertiv continues to innovate and lead the industry, our success is shaped by the strength of our teams. Frank will be instrumental in cultivating a high-performance culture to support both our customers and investors.”

Poncheri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Labor Relations & Human Resources from The Ohio State University, Max M. Fisher College of Business.
