WSO2, a renowned leader in digital transformation technology, has recently achieved notable recognition as one of the top-rated cloud computing companies to work for in the sixth edition of a list compiled by Battery Ventures, a globally focused technology investment firm. This list is curated based on employee feedback from Glassdoor, a prominent platform that offers insights into jobs and companies.

The list highlights the top 25 private and top 25 public companies in the business-to-business (B2B) cloud computing sector, where employees themselves report the highest levels of job satisfaction. WSO2 stands proudly within the top five companies, alongside Cribl, Notion Labs, Ironclad, and Experience.com. It’s noteworthy that Glassdoor itself was a part of the Battery Ventures portfolio.

Sanjiva Weerawarana, the Founder and CEO of WSO2, expressed his pride at being among the top five cloud computing companies to work for in 2023, attributing this achievement to the dedication and passion of the global WSO2 team. He emphasized the company’s commitment to nurturing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity, which lies at the core of their success.

According to Neeraj Agrawal, a cloud computing investor and Battery general partner, the companies featured in this year’s “Highest-Rated Cloud-Computing Companies to Work For” list have excelled in preserving outstanding corporate cultures during a period of significant upheaval in the technology industry. This accomplishment is especially remarkable given the transformative shifts in traditional workplace norms that followed the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brandon Gleklen, a Battery principal, emphasized the pivotal role of company culture in attracting top-tier talent and maintaining a competitive edge in the market, particularly during challenging economic times. He expressed hope that all the companies featured on this list take pride in this well-deserved recognition.

To qualify for the 2023 list, a cloud company had to garner a minimum of 30 company reviews on Glassdoor between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. The private company report focuses on independent, non-public cloud companies situated in the United States, following a B2B business model, and associated with categories like SaaS, software, cloud computing, and enterprise software. Furthermore, they must have had more than 200 employees as of September 7, 2023, and secured funding on or after July 1, 2019.
