Yalla Plus, a Riyadh-based startup, has successfully closed its seed funding round, raising 10 million SAR ($2.7 million USD). The round was led by Merak Capital, with participation from Khwarizmi Ventures, Isometry Capital, and angel investors from the Middle East and the United States.
Founded in 2022 by tech entrepreneur Abdullah Alrabeh and venture capitalist Bader Alnasser, Yalla Plus aims to transform the hospitality and restaurant sector with its comprehensive tech platform. The company’s integrated POS system offers payment management, customer feedback processing, and delivery solutions, alongside detailed data analytics to boost operational efficiency. Currently, Yalla Plus serves thousands of entrepreneurs across 11 countries and plans to expand to 100,000 entrepreneurs in 50 countries, spanning the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Abdullah Alrabeh, Co-Founder and CEO, stated that Yalla Plus was inspired by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and aims to empower entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector. He emphasized their mission to attract top Saudi and global talent, positioning Yalla Plus as a leading Saudi tech firm in the next five years.
